Attention terrorist, radicals and disgruntled postal workers

Attention terrorist, radicals and disgruntled postal workers in case you haven't figured out a way to harm the maximum number of innocent people, head on over to NPR's Morning Edition. The nice folks at NPR have taken the time not only announce that freight trains are a great target for a terrorist attack but their fabulous in depth reporting has also calculated that they could kill up to 100,000 people within half an hour.

So if you hadn't thought of an attack like this or if you thought it might not be worth the trouble listen to NPR's report and you'll be convinced it is.

Thanks NPR, what would we do without you?

The news media has, gone absolutely batty; it would be comedic except we're talking about some serious matters here sometimes. I am finding it tough to watch the news without yelling back at it lately, the stupid questions they ask people in tragic situations makes me go mad. It's a disgrace.

I agree HB - news is the same over here. It's something we have no control over and it's frightning.

Great post!!

I sooooooo feel your frustration! Around here, the media seems to take great pleasure in announcing Ship's Movement (naturally for the "feel good" value of the deployment process or return home)... never seeming to take into consideration that Ship's Movement is CLASSFIED INFORMATION FOR A REASON.

Sheesh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if we all see the problem who are these bastards who publish this stuff?

We actually have a morning radio report here that reports where radar is set up to catch speeders. I just don't get it.

We spend billions of dollars to find out information about our enemies and our enemies only need a subscription to cable where they can watch CNN to find out every secret we have. Frankly, it makes me sick!

RT, did you see the post on Gunslingers about the highschool in California flying the American flag upside down. What the hell is going on!

I did see it. It wouldn't bother me if they bulldozed the school down. Of course the tax payers would just have to build them a new one :(

I meet a lot of foreigners who come to this country legally excited about experiencing our culture and becoming part of it. Those people I understand but the people who come here intent on changing our ways into theirs... I just don't get.
