He's a blast! This is the best time of year for us. There's no consumer-driven greed (yikes Christmas.) He gets to stay up late and visit with the family after we take in the hoards of candy that have no where else to live. He talks a lot about made-up stories, and what he'll be next year... It's just a great time! (Not to mention the ridiculous amount of candy I get every year!! w00t w00t)

20 Something: No costume party?
I carved our pumpkin up last weekend. The boys thought it was a pirate. Sheesh, and don't even try to explain what a mummy is to a four year old.
All he would say was, "that's not my mommy."
He's Scooby-Doo dressed up as a vampire.
Mike: "Get it Mom, I'm in a costume, in a costume!?"
*laugh*
He's having a good time with it.

That kid of yours has a good imagination. I'm impressed with his creativeness! My oldest loves Scooby-Doo too.
